What to Expect
When you visit our hearing clinic for your hearing healthcare, you will always receive the highest level of care. We pride ourselves on treating our patients like family, and no matter which of our locations you visit, you’ll always receive the best care possible.
Your first appointment will begin with a conversation to get to know you better. We will go over your paperwork and ask you some questions about your hearing needs, lifestyle, and goals.
We will perform an ear exam by using an otoscope to look at the inside of your ear at the ear canal and eardrum. If you have earwax that is affecting your hearing we can remove it in our office without the need to reschedule your visit.
Once we’ve determined your ears look healthy, then we can begin the hearing test. We will perform a series of diagnostic tests to assess your ability to hear sounds and speech.
We will go over the results of your hearing evaluation, called an “audiogram,” with you and recommend a suitable treatment plan based on your lifestyle, unique degree of hearing loss, and financial situation. You and your audiologist will build your treatment plan together to help you achieve all your hearing goals.

"I have been to HES in OP several times for my own hearing situation and everyone I have dealt with is professional and highly educated in the Audiology arena. The nice thing is they are not there to simply sell you hearing aids, they are there to assist you in increasing your hearing potential based on your medical situation. The tests they run are specific to you and the questions are all focused on you, so the recommendation is as unique and as special as you are. I would never go anywhere else after spending time with HES."

"I was very reluctant on getting hearing aids at the age of 60. But after saying what, huh, and pardon me multiple times in a day, I decided I should have them looked at. With Ivy’s awesome guidance, I had no doubt, but to buy the premium earplug style hearing aids. She has been great throughout the whole process. If you’re having any doubts, you must stop here at “Hearing Evaluation Services”, I can hear again. Oh, and I’m not hearing any background noise or echoing or any of those odd things that people tell you. Thank you again"
