What to Expect
When you visit our hearing clinic for your hearing healthcare, you will always receive the highest level of care. We pride ourselves on treating our patients like family, and no matter which of our locations you visit, you’ll always receive the best care possible.
Your first appointment will begin with a conversation to get to know you better. We will go over your paperwork and ask you some questions about your hearing needs, lifestyle, and goals.
We will perform an ear exam by using an otoscope to look at the inside of your ear at the ear canal and eardrum. If you have earwax that is affecting your hearing we can remove it in our office without the need to reschedule your visit.
Once we’ve determined your ears look healthy, then we can begin the hearing test. We will perform a series of diagnostic tests to assess your ability to hear sounds and speech.
We will go over the results of your hearing evaluation, called an “audiogram,” with you and recommend a suitable treatment plan based on your lifestyle, unique degree of hearing loss, and financial situation. You and your audiologist will build your treatment plan together to help you achieve all your hearing goals.
