Carolyn A. Yates, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Carolyn Yates has been with Hearing Evaluation Services since 2013. She graduated with her Doctorate in Audiology from the University at Buffalo in 2013 after completing her clinical residency year at HES.
Dr. Yates is the tinnitus team lead at HES and has built a dynamic and comprehensive tinnitus program with excellent outcomes for our patients. On the merit of the program developed at HES, Dr. Yates helped HES be selected as a provider of the newest tinnitus treatment device called Lenire. She is one of only a handful of Lenire certified providers in western NY, all which are HES tinnitus specialists. Dr. Yates is passionate about helping patients successfully manage their tinnitus and decreased sound tolerance. She holds voluntary certifications from both the Tinnitus Practitioners Association and the American Board of Audiology in tinnitus management.
Her other clinical interests include diagnostic audiometric and vestibular testing, Auditory Evoked Potentials, and adult hearing aid selection and fitting.
Dr. Yates is originally from East Aurora, New York and currently lives in Buffalo with her family.
