Jenna Hendler, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Jenna Hendler received her Doctorate in Audiology from the University at Buffalo. She also graduated from the University at Buffalo with her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in counseling. Dr. Hendler has been with Hearing Evaluation Services since 2019 working at a variety of different HES offices. While completing her clinical residency year at HES, she worked at the Buffalo Medical Group ENT Department and at Dent Neurologic Institute Dizziness Center. Dr. Hendler chose audiology because of the profound impact hearing health has on a patient’s quality of life and interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Hendler’s graduate capstone project focused on examining the effects of a sound therapy device for tinnitus patients over a nine-month period. Additionally, Dr. Hendler spent two weeks in London, England observing and learning about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a form of audiologist-delivered treatment for tinnitus and hyperacusis patients in a hospital-based setting.
Dr. Hendler is constantly continuing her education and refining her clinical skills to best support the needs of her patients. She specializes in tinnitus management and treatment and has completed the rigorous continuing education training program from the American Board of Audiology earning a Certificate in Tinnitus Management. She is also one of only a handful of certified Lenire Tinnitus Treatment providers in Western NY.
Dr. Hendler is a native of Clarence, NY and currently lives in Amherst, NY with her family.
