Nicole E. Baumgartner, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Nicole Baumgartner has been with Hearing Evaluation Services since 2014 and has been practicing audiology since 2007. Prior to her audiology career, Dr. Baumgartner worked as a speech therapist for three years giving her a very well-rounded professional experience. She has worked in a variety of settings and has experience with patients of all ages. Dr. Baumgartner is also very experienced working with local ENT physicians to provide implantable hearing solutions like cochlear implants and bone-conduction systems. She enjoys figuring out the best treatment plans for hearing losses that are medical in nature and difficult to treat. She is also a certified provider of the Lyric extended wear hearing device.

Dr. Baumgartner worked closely with Roswell Cancer Institute to create an ototoxic monitoring program at HES. This has now expanded beyond monitoring for patients battling cancer and expanded into monitoring for other drugs that have been shown to be potentially toxic to hearing. This program is an important part of a patient’s overall treatment plan and wellness.

Dr. Baumgartner grew up outside of Cooperstown, New York and did her residency year at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown before relocating back to Buffalo in 2008. She currently resides in Lancaster with her husband and two children.
